Pastor Sean and Amber Cooper
I grew up around this area being born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana. In 1994, I married my wife Amber and neither of us had a relationship with the Lord. After having struggles in our marriage, we both accepted Christ in 1998. Shortly thereafter, God directed our path by allowing us to grow and serve Him by becoming involved in many different outreaches throughout the community.

After being in Layout for 18 years at the Chrysler Kokomo Transmission Plant, God placed a different call on my life by allowing me the privilege of becoming the pastor of Galveston First Baptist Church in October of 2016. Galveston First Baptist Church is a wonderful facility and has a common goal to tell as many people as possible about Jesus Christ and the new life that can be experienced through knowing Him.

We want to serve you as part of our community. Our desire is to let you know that you are always welcome at Galveston First Baptist Church and that you have an open invitation to worship with us at any time.

Tyler and Kayla Yeakley - Youth Leaders

Hello! We are Tyler and Kayla Yeakley, The Summit Youth Group leaders here at Galveston FBC.
We both grew up in Galveston and attended Lewis Cass High School.
Our story begins back in 1995 when we both attended preschool here together. We never would have thought it would become a full circle!
We were married at Galveston FBC in 2015 and both joined the church shortly thereafter. We accepted Christ and were baptized together in 2016.
We currently work at the Logansport Memorial Cancer Center and love being able to minister into the lives of those going through some of the hardest of times.
We have two fur babies, Piper & Hank, who bring so much joy into our lives!
We are excited to have the privilege of ministering to the younger generation. Our vision for Summit is to love every youth where they are and to help them grow in their relationship with Christ as well as becoming more like Him.
